EasyInfoView is a display and content management application intended for organizations and individuals. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data is collected, how it is used, and your rights under applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR.

• Account data: email address used for authentication
• Content data: displays, items, images, and configuration created by account holders
• Device data: technical device identifiers used for secure device linking and synchronization
• Technical logs: timestamps, error logs, and IP addresses for security and diagnostics
• Subscription data: subscription status and identifiers received from Google Play

The service is not intended for storing personal or sensitive personal data within displayed content. Users are responsible for ensuring that content complies with applicable data protection laws.

Viewer devices do not collect personal data about individuals viewing the displays. They function solely as presentation endpoints controlled by the account holder.

• Synchronize content between authorized devices
• Process subscriptions and verify entitlement
• Ensure service security and prevent abuse
• Diagnose technical issues and improve reliability

6. Analytics and Diagnostics

We use limited technical analytics and diagnostic data to identify errors, monitor performance, and improve the service. This data is not used for advertising, profiling, or cross-application tracking.

7. Camera Permission

The app may request camera access solely to scan QR codes for device linking. No images or videos are captured, stored, or transmitted.

8. Data Storage and Security

Data is stored using secure cloud infrastructure hosted in Northern Europe (EU). All data transmission is encrypted. While reasonable safeguards are applied, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8a. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will assess the breach and notify relevant authorities and affected users where required by GDPR. You will be informed of the nature of the breach, potential consequences, and measures taken to address it.

9. Data Retention

• Active accounts: retained while the account remains active
• Deleted accounts: permanently removed within 30 days
• Security and audit logs: retained for up to 90 days
• Subscription records: retained as required by law

10. Third-Party Services

• Supabase – backend infrastructure and data storage
• Google Play – subscription and payment processing

11. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. You may also request data portability or object to certain processing activities.

Where processing is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us at easyinfoview@gmail.com. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Data portability requests will be provided in JSON or CSV format, commonly used and machine-readable formats, to enable you to transfer your data to another service provider.

If you believe we have not complied with data protection laws, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (https://tietosuoja.fi/en/home) or your local supervisory authority.

We do not sell personal data. California residents may contact us to exercise their applicable privacy rights.

12. Children

EasyInfoView is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 years of age.

13. International Transfers

If you access the service from outside the hosting region, your data may be processed internationally under appropriate safeguards.

14. Updates

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of the service after updates constitutes acceptance.
